Taking on Clients in-person in Miami & virtually throughout Florida

I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to focus on their well-being. To keep the process as simple and flexible as possible, I do not bill insurance directly, but many clients are able to use their out-of-network benefits to receive reimbursement.

You are also welcome to pay out-of-pocket, which can offer you the highest level of privacy, comfort, and freedom in your care, without the limitations that can come with insurance.

If you're unsure about your options, I’m more than happy to walk you through them and help you figure out what feels best for you. Your care should fit your life, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

FAQs

  • Yes, I do have a limited amount of sliding scale slots open. If you believe you are not able to pay my current full fee, do not hesitate to still contact me to see if a sliding scale spot is open.

In the case that I do not have any open, I can refer you to other therapists or possible websites where you can find other therapists.

  • Yes, I currently accept clients using their out-of-network benefits. There are two ways to go about using your out-of-network benefits.

You can be responsible for checking your out-of-network benefits and submitting your claims to your insurance. On my end, I will provide you with a superbill.

You can also sit back, relax, and allow me to work with Mentaya to submit your claims for you. I work with the platform Mentaya to check your out-of-network benefits, see if you have a deductible, and get an estimate of your reimbursement amount. Mentaya submits claims on your behalf to your insurance and works on assuring you get your money back from your insurance.

With either method, at the time of the appointment, you are responsible for paying each session in full.

  • No, I am currently only allowed to see clients in Florida. Even when providing telehealth appointments, you must be living in Florida for me to see you.

  • In the intro call, we talk a little bit about ourselves. You let me know why you are seeking therapy, why now, and what are some of your goals. I introduce myself to you and speak about how I usually work with clients and my style of therapy. I find it super important for us to be a good fit together. Thus, if you feel comfortable, then, we move on to the next steps following the intro call.

  • If you are ready to move forward to begin therapy, then I send you some forms to complete before scheduling our first session together.

In the case where you do not believe we are a good fit together, then, I provide you with some referrals of other clinicians that can be helpful.
